Supply Chain

As part of the ongoing expansion of Van Eeghen in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to join their Supply Chain department. In this role, you will be responsible for providing accurate data and documentation for their warehouses and ERP database, as well as executing day-to-day supply chain activities.
You will oversee the On Time Departure, inbound, warehouse management, and stock replenishment processes, all essential to achieving the key performance indicator (KPI) of On Time Delivery. Quality is key at Van Eeghen, and you will help them further professionalize into a data-driven Supply Chain department.

The head quarter office of Van Eeghen is in Amsterdam; it is located in a monumental building at Herengracht, you will report to the Operations Director

The following tasks will be a part of your responsibilities

• On Time Delivery (OTD): Drive the OTD process in collaboration with the Customer Service and Sales teams.
• Process Optimization: Responsible for optimizing planning processes and automating existing and future workflows.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders to ensure a continuous flow of information and processes.
• Purchase Order Management: Check and chase purchase order confirmations.
• ETA Updates: Update Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) and Expected Receipt dates in Business Central.
• Inbound Document Processing: Process and verify inbound documents and provide customs clearance instructions.
• ERP Management: Manage Certificates of Analysis and lot numbers in Business Central.
• Goods Receipt: Pre-register incoming goods for receipt at the warehouse and process goods receipts/EDI messages.
• Data Verification: Check warehouse data against delivery data from suppliers and report deviations to the Purchasing or Quality department.
• Stock Management: Maintain accurate stock records and participate in annual stock counts.
• Shipment Status Updates: Maintain the inbound status list and provide updates on airfreight shipments to the Customer Service team.
• Product Information Management: Process product information in Business Central and handle product damages and claims

Requirements:

• Minimum HBO work and thinking level.
• Relevant experience in a similar Supply Chain position.
• Proficient in ERP systems and various computer applications (Business Central / Microsoft Windows).
• Affinity for digitization and IT skills, such as Power BI.
• Fluent in English, Dutch is nice to have
• Detail-oriented and professional, able to handle stress in a dynamic commercial environment.
• Residing in or near Amsterdam.
